We, at CAI Training Services, operating the website of UK Construction Training Services act as a booking agent, which supports individuals and businesses with aspirations of acquiring the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card(s).

 

Introduction

UK Construction Training Services Limited ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales under company number Company #: 11343873, with registered offices at 1110 Elliott Court Coventry Business Park, Herald Avenue, Coventry, West Midlands, United Kingdom, CV5 6UB United Kingdom.  The term "you" refers to the user or viewer of our website and the “candidate” refers to the individual who has purchased services from us.  You are encouraged to read these Terms in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.

 

Our Business

We aim to support people operating within the construction industry by providing a streamlined and expedient advisory and booking service that keeps our clients informed about the ‘need to know’ aspects of the requirements pertaining to the successful application and completion of the CSCS card application process.  The bookings we process are for the boarding of individuals and/ or groups of individuals onto the appropriate CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test.  Booking services are not available to anyone under the age of 16 years.

 

Contract

Every order that is placed via www.ukconstructiontrainingservices.org (“this website”) assumes that you have read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) in conjunction with our Privacy Policy; understood and agree to both and also agree that upon purchase, that your acceptance of them enters you into a legally binding contractual agreement with us, which enables us to process your CITB test boarding request, on your behalf.

These Terms are applicable to any online purchases you make via this website and are applicable to any individual tradesmen representing themselves, non-tradesmen booking on behalf of any others, or business representatives booking on behalf of their employees.  The latest Terms will be posted on this website, and you should always review these prior to each purchase. 

 

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for accurately providing personal details to us and you accept that failure to do so, will result in candidate rejection from the test centre and subsequent forfeit of your booking fee.  You are encouraged to review the FAQ on this website (Identification Requirements) to accurately ascertain whether you can fulfil these requirements, before you purchase from this website.

 

Prices, Fees and Payment

All prices for items offered for sale from us are detailed below:

Health, Safety and Environment Test: £46.00

 

When you are ready to provide payment, you will be directed to our secure WorldPay merchant service to provide your bank details.  Your order will be processed pending clearance of the funds from your account.  We do not accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier. 

Whilst we try to ensure that all advertised prices are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any item you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of confirming your order at the correct price (in which case we will credit or debit you as applicable) or cancel your order (in which case you will receive a full refund). If we are unable to contact you to confirm your order at the correct price, you agree that we may treat the order as cancelled and issue you with a full refund.

We charge the standard booking fee plus an admin fee of £20.00 for processing the test booking. We charge the standard fee for CSCS card application plus an admin fee of £29.00 for processing the CSCS card application.  We will reschedule your tests for you a maximum of 3 times, as long as this is within the limits of the booking restrictions after this point we will charge an admin fee of £10 per reschedule (detailed below) we post advisory blogs, pertinent industry news to ensure they are taking the correct test and receiving the correct cards and step by step guidance for customers that are new to booking such tests.

Test and retakes booked by the candidate is done so with the knowledge that the retake is offered at a discounted price and cannot be refunded if the customer passes their test first time. 

All CSCS Cards are non refundable once payment has been submitted on our booking form. 

 

Processing Periods and Confirmations

Once payment has been accepted, you will receive an e-mail to inform you that your booking is being processed by our administrative team.  We aim to process single bookings within 24-working hours and group bookings within 72-working hours.  You will then receive a second e-mail (confirmation), which will provide you with the following information regarding your Health, Safety and Environment Test:

• Booking reference number
• Test location, date and time
• Type of test and duration
• An overview of our reschedule policy
• An overview of our cancelation policy
• Identification Requirements
• General directions to the test centre
• Conduct

You accept that there is limited availability at test centres around the UK and a candidate may not receive the test date and time they want, due to unavailability.  Therefore, you are encouraged to submit additional available dates, times, or periods of the day when you are available, onto our booking form, to help us board you onto a test that you can likely attend.  We cannot guarantee that we can meet your specifications exactly but will attempt to board you onto the most suitable test for you, based on the information that you provide to us.  Where there is unavailability at either of your chosen test centres, or it exceeds 14-days from your requested test date, we will contact you to determine how you would like to proceeed, before we process your booking.

Please be aware, that the receipt of Confirmation of your test date, time and location, is not indicative of the exact date and time the test was booked and paid for by us.  You have the right to object to further processing, however, if our administrative team have already processed the request to book your test and you have not yet received your confirmation, you will incur the administrative charge stipulated for processing as long as the request was made outside of our 4-day cancellation policy (see below).

It is very important that you read the Confirmation that is e-mailed to you.  We do not accept responsibility for those individuals that fail to read their confirmations or query them with us to discuss potential reschedules or cancellations prior to attending their test.  You accept that the preferred date and time you requested initially, may not match exactly what you receive on your confirmation.  We do endeavour to get the closest available date and time to your initial preference, whilst also considering your additional availability (if you choose to submit this).

If you have not received a confirmation, you are encouraged to check your spam/junk folder first and then contact us at info@ukconstructiontrainingservices.co.uk to discuss your concerns or ask for us to re-send it.  We do not accept responsibility for enquiries of this nature being made after the date of the test has passed.  We also do not accept responsibility for claims that confirmations have not been received where we are able to provide you evidence of exactly when the confirmation was sent.

 

Booking Restrictions

You accept that bookings cannot be rescheduled within 4-working days of the day you are due to sit your test, nor can they be cancelled.  You accept this, understanding that any cancellations requested within this timeframe are done so, knowing that you risk the total test fee of £46.00.

 

Rescheduling, Cancelling and Administration Fees

You can contact us at info@ukconstructiontrainingservices.org to reschedule or cancel your CITB, CSCS test, as long you make contact more than 4-working days before the date you are due to sit your test, as per the booking restrictions described above.  Any enquiries made to reschedule less than 4-working days cannot be processed. 

We require 6 working days for a ECS test reschedules.

All rescheduling and cancellation queries should be forwarded along with the following information:

• First Name,
• Surname and
• booking number.

 

Reschedule Policy

If you wish to reschedule your CITB, CSCS test you must do this at least 4-working days before your scheduled test date and time.If your test is due to start in less than 4-working days and you still wish to reschedule, unfortunately you will NOT be entitled to and must re-book at an additional cost.

We will happily reschedule your test twice for you if you have requested this within the acceptable timeframe, after the second request all reschedules will cost £5 per request. 

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your test you must do this at least 4-working days before your scheduled test date and time. (Cancellation fee will apply).
Any tests that are less than 4-working days away cannot be cancelled.
You will be able to cancel tests that are more than 4-working days away however, this will incur a charge of £20.00 per candidate.
The cancellation policy applies to CITB Tests only.
All CSCS Card orders and Site Safety Training Courses are NON REFUNDABLE once payment has been submitted on our booking form. 

 

Group Bookings

Group bookings are processed using the same protocol we use to process individual bookings.  Therefore, you accept that they are applicable to the same restrictions, as above.  And, because they are individual, any request to cancel or reschedule within the timeframe described above, will therefore be subject to the same cancellation fee and reschedule policy for each candidate within the group.

 

Complaints

We are dedicated to providing you with a high level of service at all times, but if you are not satisfied, please contact our staff.  In the event that you remain dissatisfied and wish to make a complaint, you should contact: info@ukconstructiontrainingservices.org to make contact with our administrative operators.  Where they are unable to settle your dispute, your query will be passed to management level for final settlement.  All complaints should be forwarded along with the following information:

• First Name,
• Surname and
• booking number.

 

Confidentiality and Processing of Your Data

Your information is treated by us as confidential and is processed in accordance with the relevant legislation.  In your dealings with us you may provide us with information that may include data that is known as personal data or Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The PII we will collect will include information relating to your name, address, date of birth and contact details. 

There are access rights that allow you to understand the data being processed, who we share it with, for what purpose, why we need to retain it and retention periods. You can object to processing, place restrictions on processing, request copies of your data and request the deletion of your data.  If you require further information on how we process your data, or you wish to exercise your rights, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

 

Disclaimers

• We reserve the right to suspend, delete, edit this website temporarily or permanently with or without notice.  And thus, you agree that we shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any such modification, suspension or deletion of this website.
